of Diandre Oates.
Officers initially responded on March 12, 2026, at approximately 9:28 p.m. to reports of shots fired at Houston Lake Apartments. While searching the area, officers located a deceased adult male behind the 1700 building who had sustained gunshot
wounds. The victim was later identified as Diandre Oates.

Arrest made in a Drive-by Aggravated Assault Investigation on Glenbrook Road
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in connection with an aggravated assault drive-by shooting that occurred at a residence inside the 900 block of Glenbrook Road. The incident occurred on February 2, 2026, just after 9:00 p.m., Monday evening.
Deputies responded to investigate reports of shots fired. Upon arriving on scene, a deputy discovered damage to the home and met with the victim who advised that no one was injured inside of the home. During the investigation, with the assistance of Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit, a person of interest was located. Investigators identified the person of interest as nineteen-year-old Prince Jordan Nash of Macon. Nash was taken into custody on February 3, 2026, without incident and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Nash has been charged with seven counts of aggravated assault. Nash is currently being held without bond.
After further investigation, a second person of interest was located. Investigators identified the second person of interest as seventeen-year-old, Zekhi Jackson of Macon. On February 4, 2026, Jackson was taken into custody without incident at a residence inside of the 4400 block of Azalea Drive. Jackson was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Jackson has been charged with seven counts of Aggravated Assault and Terroristic Threats. Jackson has made bond.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently under investigation.
