The Crimestoppers program was built on the idea of bridging the gap of communications from the public to law enforcement. We do not use caller ID, we do not ask questions related to your identity.
We listen and then provide a number that serves as the caller's identity. Anonymity is how we keep each caller safe.
Do your part to help keep all of our communities safe and
" Make the Call " and share what is known about crime and wanted fugitives.Domestic violence is often hidden, but it is happening every day, in homes across our community.
According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence:
➡️ 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men experience severe intimate partner violence
➡️ Nearly 20 people per minute are victims of abuse in the United States
At the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, we want you to hear this clearly:
👉 You deserve to feel safe
👉 You deserve to be heard
👉 There is help available
🚨 If you are in immediate danger, call 911
