Arson Arrest Made Following Residential Fire in Perry
On July 8, 2024, at around 13:00 hrs., the City of Perry Fire Department and Perry Police Department responded to a residential structure fire at 228 Shoshone Circle, Perry, Georgia.
After the fire was extinguished by Perry Fire personnel, a joint investigation was launched into the cause and origin of the fire.
It was determined that the fire was intentionally set and has been ruled arson by investigators. The investigation led to the arrest of Keith Hutchison (W/M), a resident at 228 Shoshone Circle, Perry, Georgia, who is facing the following charges:
- Arson 1st Degree O.C.G.A. 16-7-60
- Cruelty to Children 2nd Degree O.C.G.A 16-5-70(c)
- Reckless Conduct O.C.G.A. 16-5-60
- Criminal Damage to Property O.C.G.A. 16-7-23
- Insurance Fraud O.C.G.A. 33-1-9
