The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery of the Murphy Express gas station, located at 1402 Gray Highway. This incident occurred at around 12:09a.m.
It was reported that male individual, brandishing a handgun, entered the store and walked behind the counter. He demanded money from the cash registers. Once the he received an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the store. He was last seen running towards the Overlook Garden Apartments. No one was injured in the incident.
Investigators are looking for a black male, he was approximately 6 feet 0 inches in height and weighed around 220 lbs. He was wearing all black clothing and a white undershirt. He also had on a black hat and a blue facial covering over his face. Photographs of the suspect are attached to this media release.
