Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Aggravated Assault on Williamson Road
BIBB COUNTY, GA — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred in the 3400 block of Williamson Road on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
According to a media release from the Office of Sheriff David J. Davis, the incident was called into the Macon-Bibb E911 Center just after 8:33 p.m. Tuesday night.
Deputies responded to the scene after receiving a report that a person had been shot while inside a vehicle. When deputies arrived, they found a 34-year-old Black male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local medical facility. Medical staff reported that his injuries are non-life-threatening, and he is currently listed in stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
