Incident Date: April 25, 2025 - 8:45 p.m.
Incident: Vehicle vs. Pedestrian - Hit and Run
Location: Myrtle St between Duke Av and Green St.
On the night of the incident, a pedestrian was walking on Myrtle St. between Duke Av and Green St. A vehicle was traveling on Myrtle St and struck the victim causing fractures to both legs. The vehicle did not stop and left the area. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a silver Honda sedan. The damage on the vehicle should be minor and near the passenger side front bumper. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition. Due to the nature of the victim's injuries, the Warner Robins Police Departments Traffic Unit responded to investigate the incident.

Fugitive Apprehended Following a Macon Regional Crimestoppers Tip
A coordinated effort between multiple law enforcement agencies resulted in the successful arrest of George M. Waters Jr., who was wanted by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office on a Superior Court Bench Warrant for executing fictitious checks.
The case began when a tipster from Richmond County, Georgia, recognized Waters Jr. on the Macon Regional CrimeStoppers website (www.crimestop.us) and submitted a tip. Upon receiving the information, the Macon Regional CrimeStoppers office promptly forwarded the tip and corresponding warrants to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Acting on the information, deputies with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office located and apprehended Waters Jr. Following the arrest, the fugitive was extradited to Bibb County who was then booked on April 1, 2025. for further legal proceedings.
This case underscores the value of public involvement and the effectiveness of cross-jurisdictional collaboration in bringing fugitives to justice.

UPDATE: Additional Arrest Made in Wallace Road Death Investigation
On April 22, 2025, just before 1:00 p.m., The US Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Taskforce transported twenty-year-old Davian Nayshuan Forney of Macon to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Forney was wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Dontavious Ryshaun Holsey. The incident occurred on September 30, 2024, on Wallace Road near the intersection of Johnson Road.
After receiving a Crime Stoppers tip, The Southeast Regional Fugitive Taskforce with the assistance of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, located Davian Forney at a residence in Milledgeville, Georgia. Forney was apprehended without incident after the execution of an arrest warrant, before being extradited to Bibb County.
Davian Nayshuan Forney has been charged with Murder and Aggravated Assault. He is currently being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center without bond. ... See MoreSee Less
