Some cases become the reason a community starts looking back, asking harder questions, and refusing to let silence win.

For Macon Regional Crimestoppers, the case of Parker Killian Moore is one of those cases.

Parker was killed on January 21, 2018, during a robbery at the Barberitos restaurant on Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins. He was 23 years old. Nearly eight years later, his family is still searching for answers, investigators are still seeking information, and someone may still know what happened that night.

This renewed effort to shine a spotlight on older unsolved cases begins with Parker’s story.

A Life Bigger Than a Case File

Parker was more than the place where he died. He was a son, a friend, an outdoorsman, and someone remembered by his family for his kindness, humor, curiosity, and heart.

Through the nonprofit Parker Killian “GIVES” Moore, his family continues to honor his life by supporting scholarships, education, community projects, and nature-focused efforts. Parker’s Trail at The Walk at Sandy Run in Warner Robins also stands as a place of reflection and remembrance.

His family does not want Parker remembered only as “the young man killed at Barberitos.” They want people to know who he was, what he meant, and why justice still matters.

Renewed Attention, Renewed Hope

In 2026, Parker’s family began a renewed push to bring attention back to the case. That effort includes national podcast coverage, billboards in Warner Robins, and an increased reward for information.

The case was recently featured on the True Crime Garage podcast, bringing Parker’s story to a broader audience. Billboards are also being placed in high-traffic areas along Watson Boulevard and Russell Parkway to reach people who may have information.

The reward for information has increased to $13,000, after the FBI added $5,000 to the existing reward.

Someone Knows Something

Parker’s mother, Leah Maas, has said what many families of unsolved cases feel every day: someone knows something.

That one piece of information may seem small. It may be something heard years ago, something noticed that night, or something someone has been afraid to share. But small details can help investigators move a case forward.
