Wanted Wednesday: Kmauri Burnett

Kmauri Burnett is wanted for Murder x2, and Hijacking a Motor Vehicle.

Jan. 7, 2021 (11:20 PM): Officers responded to 708 Spring St NW regarding a stolen vehicle. The victim reported leaving his car running while picking up food when a suspect entered the vehicle and drove off. He attempted to stop the suspect but was threatened with a handgun. The stolen vehicle contained a black Alcatel iPad, wallet, and bank cards.

Jan. 7, 2021 (11:55 PM): Officers responded to Encore Hookah Bar & Bistro (320 Luckie St NW) and found a male victim deceased from a gunshot wound.

Apr. 20, 2023 (6:00 AM): Officers responded to 2030 Main St NW, where a male victim was found shot multiple times and pronounced dead on the scene.

Apr. 20, 2023: Shortly after, officers responded to 2479 Abner Terrace NW, where another male victim was found shot. He was transported to the hospital and later died.

Anyone with information on the case can submit a tip anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online www.StopCrimeATL.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637). Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000.

After a thorough investigation, warrants were issued for Maiya Danielle Gulley, Brian Christopher Hill and Zaire Sherrod all from Clayton County, Georgia. Both Gulley and Hill are being held in Clayton County and will be transferred to the Monroe County Jail, where they have pending charges of Entering Auto. Zaire Sherrod is currently wanted for Entering Auto. If you know of his whereabouts, please contact the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office at 478-994-7011 or Investigator Justice at 478-994-7043. The cashier is the one that is responsible for keeping the draw correct. The cashier gave him change and his bill he paid for the items with! How? The cashier is responsible.
