Correction
Death Investigation on Majestic Lane
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred in the 3300 block of Majestic Lane just after 11:00p.m. Thursday night.
Deputies responded to Majestic Lane in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival deputies located a 21-year-old male later identified as Couri Woodford Jr, suffering from a gunshot wound. Woodford was pronounced deceased on scene by Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley . The next of kin has been notified.
Bibb County Sheriff's Office Investigators have taken 43-year-old Pierre Rodriquez Williams into custody in reference to this incident. Investigators transported Williams to Investigations where he was interviewed and later charged with murder. ... See MoreSee Less
