#Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested in #Macon

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol deputies arrested a Macon man at 11:42 p.m., on August 13, 2020, for the Armed Robbery of the Family Dollar at 3567 Houston Avenue on August 12, 2020.

Deputies were checking the area of 3871 Northside Drive, Carriage Hills Apartments when they witnessed a Silver Honda Accord pull into the complex. Deputies were able to identify 33-year-old Jarvis Renaldo Flowers as being the passenger in the vehicle. Deputies detained Flowers without incident.

Flowers was transported to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Armed Robbery. He is being held without incident at this time.

Commercial Robbery at Family Dollar

The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Robbery of the Family Dollar, 3567 Houston Avenue at 8:32 p.m.
Witnesses reported a male subject entered the store brandishing a firearm. He demanded money from the clerk. The suspect then fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was described as being between five foot ten inches and six-foot-tall, with a stocky build. Pictures of the suspect are attached to the media release.
