UNSOLVED HOMICIDE – BARBARA CRENSHAW
On March 19, 1996, 39-year-old Barbara Crenshaw was found murdered in Echeconee Creek in South Bibb County. She was last seen with a white male, about 6 feet tall, mid-30s, with brown hair.

đźš” Arrest Made Following Hit & Run Incident đźš”
Early this morning, Sergeant Walker responded to a call on New Clinton Road near Sun Valley Drive regarding a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, Sgt. Walker spoke with the victim, a 19 year old male walking with a friend along the roadside, who reported being hit by a passing vehicle. The impact knocked the victim into a ditch and even out of one of his shoes. The driver did not stop and fled the scene.
During the investigation, Sgt. Walker located a side mirror belonging to a Toyota 4Runner. Walker then checked license plate readers for possible matching vehicles and found a Toyota 4 Runner registered to an address nearby. Sgt. Walker located the vehicle at a residence, showing passenger-side damage and a missing mirror. The driver, identified as Giovanni Nunez, was found asleep behind the wheel of the vehicle.
After further investigation, Nunez was taken into custody and charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, Hit & Run, and other related offenses
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. ... See MoreSee Less
