BOLO ESCAPED INMATES – BIBB COUNTY, GA
On November 19, 2025, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit with assistance from the Gang Unit, Patrol Division, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, executed a high-risk drug search warrant at a residence inside the 700 block of Key Court. As a result of the search, over fifty pounds of marijuana, four pounds of cocaine, thirty-nine grams of crack cocaine, seven grams of ecstasy, five thousand six hundred thirty dollars in US Currency were seized. Several handguns were seized including a Glock 22 .40 caliber handgun, Glock 32 .357 caliber handgun, FN 510 10mm handgun, Smith & Wesson M&P 45 caliber handgun, Anderson Arms 300 Blackout assault rifle, and several additional high-capacity magazines including a 50-round drum. A 1980 Ford F150, 2024 Honda Accord, and a 2022 Kia K5 were also seized as evidence.
The total value of seizures is as follows:
Vehicles: $65,000
Firearms: $2500
Cash: $5630
Drugs (street value): $639,600
Total Seizure: $712,630
During the execution of the search warrant, Jimmie Lee Jones and Kinjarra Bonner were taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Jones and Bonner were charged with Trafficking Marijuana, Trafficking Cocaine, Trafficking Crack Cocaine, Possession of Schedule I Ecstasy with Intent to Distribute, and five counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. Traffic Collision Investigation and Advisory
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a collision that involved a single vehicle on Pio Nono Avenue at the intersection of Rocky Creek Road. The collision was called into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 6:56 a.m., Tuesday morning.
It was reported that a truck traveling north on Pio Nono Avenue struck utility lines before entering the Rocky Creek Road intersection. The motorist of the truck did not stop. No injuries have been reported. Northbound and Southbound lanes on Pio Nono Avenue at the intersection of Rocky Creek Road are currently closed due to utility lines blocking the path of travel for motorists.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking Media Outlets to assist by asking travelers to avoid traveling towards Pio Nono Avenue at the intersection of Rocky Creek Road. Motorists traveling north on Pio Nono Avenue are being directed onto Interstate 75 North to avoid the collision site. Motorists traveling south on Pio Nono Avenue towards the intersection of Rocky Creek Road are redirected east and west on Rocky Creek Road as a detour. Please avoid the area until the scene has been cleared and lanes have reopened.
An update will be sent when all roads have reopened.
