BOLO ESCAPED INMATES – BIBB COUNTY, GA
On December 28, 2025, Post 10 Troopers, along with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a single-vehicle crash on Georgia 49 South. The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames upon first responders’ arrival and sustained extensive damage.
The vehicle is believed to be a silver Lincoln MKZ sedan.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Is Asking for Public’s Assistance in Locating a Missing Person
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person.
It was reported to deputies that forty-eight-year-old Lamika Blackwell Dangerfield was last seen on December 24, 2025, around 7:00 p.m., inside the 60 block of Davis Street. Dangerfield was reported missing by her caregiver.
Lamika Dangerfield is described as a black female with black hair, and brown eyes. She is five feet eleven inches and weighs approximately one hundred forty pounds. She was last seen wearing a dark gray sweatshirt and light gray sweatpants.
It was reported that Dangerfield has been diagnosed with Bi-Polar Disorder and Schizophrenia.

Please be aware the WRPD is receiving multiple reports with victims being contacted by individuals claiming they are from their financial institution. These individuals are claiming that there has been a breach in the victim’s bank account. These individuals then request that the victims withdraw all the money from either their checking or savings account and then place the money inside an Uber to be transferred to a safer location within their financial institution.
Banks will never contact you by phone to withdraw your money to have it transported/transferred to another location within the same bank.
