The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a silver SUV. The vehicle was seen leaving the location just after neighbors heard shots fired. The vehicle is described as a possible crossover type SUV , silver in color with a possible out of state tag. Investigators are also asking for assistance identifying persons of interest seen in surveillance video, walking through the parking lot. This is in reference to the death investigation of Brian Matthew Brown who was found shot in the parking lot in the 100 block of Lokchapee Landing, on November 26, 2023.

It was reported that Brown walked outside and shortly after gunshots were heard. The incident was called into Macon-Bibb E-911 and when deputies arrived, they found Brown suffering from a single gunshot wound. Brown was later pronounced deceased on scene.

Investigators continue to work this incident and are committed to utilizing the full resources that law enforcement can provide to resolve this case.
