As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus this Easter, let’s reflect on the power of redemption, hope, and renewal. Just as Christ’s sacrifice brought new life, we are reminded of the opportunity for new beginnings and second chances for all.
At Crimestoppers, we believe in the power of community and the importance of standing together to create a safer, more compassionate world. This Easter, may we be inspired to bring light to the darkness, offer grace to those in need, and help restore justice where it is lost.
May the love of Christ guide us all in the pursuit of truth, peace, and healing.
Happy Easter to all who try daily to make a positive difference. ... See MoreSee Less

After receiving a call from a distraught family member of missing person Damian Durell Monds, the Macon Regional Crimestoppers felt a deeper responsibility to act. Rather than transferring the information to Atlanta Crimestoppers, we chose to handle the tip personally. It was clear that Mrs. Moody, Damian’s aunt, couldn’t endure being deferred any longer. She needed someone to listen—and act.
We received the call on April 10. Within a week, our team connected the tipster directly with the East Point Police Department, who in turn reopened the case. We also reached out to FOX 5 Atlanta, sharing a missing person post we designed in-house. FOX 5 went a step further by interviewing the family and broadcasting Damian’s story across their platforms—bringing renewed awareness and hope.
This is what teamwork looks like. This is what community means. And this is why we do what we do.
If you would like to share this story, please know that we ask that anyone who knows about the disappearance of Damian Durell Monds, who went missing in 2019 from East Point, GA, stay anonymous and call the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 478-742-2330 or 1-877-68CRIME or contact the East Point Police Department at 404-559-6229.
Every call matters. Every tip could be the one. ... See MoreSee Less
