BREAKING UPDATE: A man was arrested and charged with murder for a shooting that left one woman dead at a Macon gas station.

Upon further investigation, BSO said that before 33-year-old Kianna Quadrica Slater was found critically injured at the Neighborhood Grocery gas station on Napier Avenue, she was shot at the intersection of Churchill Street and Brentwood Avenue while inside a white sedan.

She later died from her injuries at a local medical facility.

Witnesses reported that the suspect was inside a dark colored pick up truck. Then, around 11:12 a.m., BSO deputies located the suspect's vehicle on Brentwood Avenue at the intersection of Napier Avenue and took 41-year-old Bobby Wesley Troutman into custody.

Upon further questioning, Troutman was arrested and charged with murder. He is now being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center without bond.
