She is 31 years old, 5'7 and weighs 128 lbs. She has short red/blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt or sweatshirt and blue jeans with holes in the knees. She was last seen walking a white dog with black spots at the southbound rest area in Monroe County around midnight. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputy, Involved in Shooting Incident

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating a deputy involved shooting that occurred at 4775 Chambers Road, Circle K ,just after 12:00 a.m., Thursday morning.

It was reported that a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputy responded to the convenience store in reference to a male subject forcing his way into the store and attacking the store clerk and customers.
Once the deputy arrived on scene, the male subject charged at the deputy with a weapon in hand. The deputy discharged his firearm, striking the subject. Deputies and Paramedics responded to the scene to render aid to the male. The male was later, pronounced deceased on scene. The subject’s name will not be released until next kin has been notified.

No one else was injured during this incident.


The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the shooting incident. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Internal Affairs Office will conduct an internal investigation. Updates on this incident will be released as soon as they become available.
