478.742.2330, 877.68crime or use our website, www.crimestop.us and submit a tip.Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two persons of interest connected to an attempted armed robbery at a local fast-food restaurant.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at the Burger King located at 3025 Pio Nono Avenue. The attempted robbery was reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center just before 10:00 p.m. Monday night.
Investigators say two male suspects entered the business and brandished firearms at employees while demanding money. After failing to obtain any cash, both individuals fled the scene on foot, running in the direction of the nearby Krispy Kreme.
The incident remains under active investigation. Anyone who recognizes the individuals or has information regarding their identities or whereabouts is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
