Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a person wanted in connection with an aggravated assault.

On October 26, 2025, just after 9:00 am , deputies responded to the 3900 block of Mathis Street in reference to shots being fired into a residence. It was reported that a 10-year-old male juvenile was injured when a bullet entered the home and struck him in the leg.

The juvenile was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. He is listed in stable condition.

The person of interest is pictured in the attached B.O.L.O.

Our Case of the Month highlights a fugitive wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Kymrick D. Banks, age 37, faces multiple serious charges including 11 counts of Aggravated Assault, 4 counts of Terroristic Threats and Acts, and 1 count of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude an Officer, among others.

Banks is 6’1” tall, 160 lbs, and should be considered dangerous.
