Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have arrested 34-year-old Brandon Johnson in connection to the death investigation of 35-year-old Ahmad Jarmell Harrell. It was reported that Harold and Johnson were involved in a disagreement when Johnson presented a firearm and shot Harrell.

Johnson was taken into custody on scene and then transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where he is charged with Murder.

Death Investigation on Paul Street

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred in the 600 block of Paul Street just after 12:20am , Wednesday morning.

Deputies responded to Paul Street in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival deputies found 35-year-old Ahmad Jarmell Harrell suffering from a gunshot wound inside of the home. Harrell was pronounced deceased on scene by Coroner Lonnie Marley.

The next of kin has been notified.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are still determining what led up to the shooting. Further details will be released once it becomes available.
