A Bibb County Sheriff's Office S.R.T. Unit deputy recently took a wanted female into custody during a traffic stop on Hollingsworth Road. According to a report, the female driver was found to be wanted regarding Failure to Appear on two counts of Violation of the Georgia R.I.C.O. (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization) Act in Houston County. On Monday, June 2, 2025, at approximately 10:00 am, The Monroe County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations and Uniform Patrol Divisions assisted the Bibb County Sheriff's Office with the recovery of stolen property at 195 Gibson Road. While on the scene, our Investigators located a quantity of suspected methamphetamine along with items belonging to other individuals. It was discovered that some of the property was stolen from a storage unit in Macon. Currently, we have many items that our investigators are attempting to identify owners for. We believe these items were stolen from all over the Central Georgia area. James Moore, 40 years old was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm by a convicted Felon, more charges are pending. He is currently being held at the Monroe County Jail without bond.
