UNSOLVED HOMICIDE – MORRAY A. ROSS
On April 30, 2023, Morray A. Ross was tragically shot and killed around 2:00 a.m. on Camellia Boulevard in Fort Valley, Georgia—just two days after his 20th birthday.

This case remains unsolved, and investigators with the Fort Valley Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance.

🚨 CAPTURED FUGITIVE – BRENT T. THOMPSON 🚨
Brent T. Thompson was apprehended on 05.15.2025 by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office SRT. Thompson was wanted out of Chatham County by the Sheriff’s Office SORT Unit for being an Absconder.

He now faces charges including:

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender

Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement

Trafficking in Cocaine and Other Illegal Drugs (Marijuana/Methamphetamine)

Hold for Chatham County Sheriff’s Office

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred at the Autumn Trace Apartments located at 1745 Rocky Creek Road.

Deputies responded to the apartment complex just before 7:30 p.m. regarding a person shot. Deputies arrived on scene and discovered a male inside of an apartment unresponsive with a gunshot wound. The male was pronounced deceased on the scene by Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley. The victim was later identified as 22-year-old Marcus Cunningham Jr. No one else was injured during the incident.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.

🚨 ARREST MADE IN ARMED BANK ROBBERY 🚨
SIDNEY L. BRYANT was apprehended on May 28, 2025, by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office in connection to an armed robbery that occurred earlier in Macon at Robin’s Financial Credit Union on Log Cabin Drive.

Investigators say Bryant entered the bank with a small child and passed a note to the teller claiming she was armed and demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, she fled the scene in a white Nissan Maxima.

Bryant is charged with:
🔹 Armed Robbery
🔹 Cruelty to Children in the First Degree
🔹 Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers
