Whoever reported it, they can't tell y'all what kind of vehicle? Her Facebook says she lives in Commerce. She went "missing" the 6th but it was just posted today the 15th.....

Is she from Commerce? If so possibly she doesn't want to be found.

Sheriff Mitchum will also be congratulating 3 TCSO Deputy’s and their K-9 partners K-9 Bear, K-9 Drake and K-9 Thanos for having graduated Handler School at Hurricane Creek K-9. Many thanks to owners Matt and Samantha Rook! The K-9s received leashes and embroidered collars from the Jerry Lee Strong K-9 Foundation. Thank you, Edward Reeves. Arrests made in connection with Entering Automobile Investigation

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies makes arrests in connection with an Entering Automobile Investigation.

On October 11, 2025, just after 2:00 a.m., Patrol Deputies responded to the Holiday Inn Macon North located at 3953 River Place Drive, in reference to motor vehicle alarms and two male suspects sighted entering automobiles. The suspects, wearing all black, fled the scene in a blue sports utility vehicle. Deputies spotted the vehicle on Riverside Drive and attempted to make a traffic stop, but the motorist refused to stop. Deputies pursued the vehicle. Multiple occupants fled the vehicle on foot when they arrived at Napier Avenue, near Brookdale Avenue. Two suspects were apprehended after a brief foot chase. A firearm with an extended magazine, multiple automobile key fobs were recovered. The sports utility vehicle used by the suspects was discovered reported stolen out of Warner Robins. The stolen vehicle was recovered.

The suspects were identified as a sixteen-year-old juvenile and seventeen-year-old Jay’Shawn Lamar Smith of Macon. The suspects were transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters for further investigation. The juvenile was charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and two counts of Entering Automobile. He was released to his parents and is awaiting a court hearing. Jay’Shawn Smith was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.

Smith was charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, two counts of Entering Automobile, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, and multiple Traffic Violations. He is currently being held without a bond.

The information provided is preliminary. The case is still under active investigation, pending additional charges. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
