Public’s Assistance Requested in Locating Wanted Person
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 30-year-old Justin Antryon Collins. Collins has a warrant for Involuntary Manslaughter for an incident that occurred January 10, 2021 at
BJ Billiard’s , located at 430 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Involuntary Manslaughter Investigation
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Involuntary Manslaughter. The incident occurred on, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the BJ Billiard’s, located at 430 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd at around 11:53p.m.
According to witnesses, 54-year-old Larry Liggins and another male were involved in a physical, while inside of this establishment. During the altercation, a male punched Liggins, causing him to fall back and hit his head against a wooden pillar. The other male left the establishment as Sheriff’s Deputies and paramedics were called to the scene.
When deputies and paramedics arrived at the establishment, they found Liggins unresponsive, but breathing. . Patrol Deputies began to interview patrons at the establishment, but no one knew the identity of the second male. Liggin’s was transported to a local hospital by ambulance, for the injury that he sustained during the fight.
Sheriff’s Investigators received an update on Monday of Liggin’s status, Monday evening. His situation progressed and he was having to be transferred to the Intensive Care Unit where he was listed to be in critical condition.
Once Investigators were able to identify the second male, they had warrants issued for his arrest. Investigators issued warrants, for 30-year-old Justin Antryon Collins, for the charge of Aggravated Battery.
Tuesday afternoon, Coroner Jones stated that Liggins passed away at around 12:33p.m. and that the next of kin has been notified.
Upon receiving the information of Liggin’s passing, Investigators had the warrant upgraded from Aggravated Battery to Involuntary Manslaughter.
