Asking for Public’s Assistance in Locating Person of Interest in Thomas Place Homicide
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking for the publics’ assistance in locating a person of interest for questioning in the homicide of 28-year-old Milton Dwayne Sanford of Jones County.
Deputies are looking to question 27-year-old Larry Howard Jr , of Macon. Howard is known to frequent the East Macon and Bloomfield area .

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that was reported in the 1000 block of Thomas Place.The incident was called in just before 11:00a.m.
It was reported that a call of a person down came into Bibb County Sheriff Office call center. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a male victim later identified as 28 -year-old Milton Dwayne Sanford , of Jones County in a vehicle suffering from a single gunshot wound . The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
The family has been notified by the Coroner’s Office.
At this time the circumstances surrounding the death is still under investigation.
