Two Suspects Charged in Connection with April 17,2021 Homicide Investigation
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators charged two individuals in connection with the Homicide investigation of 55-year-old Timothy Williams. The Homicide incident took place on April 17, 2021, at the corner of Columbus Road and Helon Street.
Through the course of the investigation, it was ascertained that Williams was shot during a personal armed robbery. Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators continued to work through the evidence and identified two suspects.
The first suspect, 20-year-old Rahkon Marketh Howard, was located in jail at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. Howard is currently in custody for a Robbery that took place at the Houston Avenue Grocery, located at 4315 Houston Avenue on March 8, 2021. Investigators arrested Howard for the Robbery on July 12, 2021.
On September 22, 2021, Investigators served Howard with Murder and Armed Robbery warrants in connection to William’s death. Howard now faces charges of Murder, Armed Robbery, and Robbery. Howard remains in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, without bond.
The second suspect charged in connection with the Homicide investigation is 29-year-old Andre Lamar Davis. Investigators identified Davis as the second suspect in this investigation and had warrants issued for his arrest. Davis was located on September 22, 2021. Davis was taken into custody, without incident.
Davis is also charged with Murder, Armed Robbery. Davis has a separate charge of a Parole Violation, not related to this investigation. Is was reported that Davis is on Parole for Firearms charges. Davis is being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, without bond.

Homicide Investigation Columbus Road
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Homicide incident that occurred at the corner of Columbus Road and Helon Street at around 1:21 a.m.
It was reported that 55-year-old Timothy Williams was found with a gunshot wound to the lower extremity. Jackson was transported to Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance. He was pronounced deceased at around 2:22 a.m. The next of kin has been notified.
This investigation is in its early stages. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
