Suspect Arrested with Drugs After Attempting to Flee From Deputies
On February 28, 2021, just after 1:30am, Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies attempted a traffic stop on a 2014 Dodge Charger. The driver of the vehicle refused to stop and lead deputies on a brief vehicle chase. During the chase, the driver identified as 32-year-old Kraig Adolphus Hall, discarded a handgun and backpack from the vehicle. Hall then fled the vehicle and lead deputies in a foot pursuit. Deputies were able to take Hall into custody after he was tased. Hall was searched and a large sum of currency was removed from his pockets. Deputies searched the vehicle and located a large quantity of marijuana and a scale. Deputies recovered the backpack containing, one pound of marijuana, six grams of ecstasy and packaging materials.
Hall was checked out by Emergency Services and released back into the custody of deputies. He was transported to the Bibb County Jail on charges of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute , Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony, Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Traffic offense, Driving without a valid license, Fleeing and eluding a police officer, Possession of a schedule II-controlled substance with the intent to distribute and Violation of probation. He is being held without bond at this time.
Two days after Hall was arrested, it was discovered that Hall had made numerous calls to his girlfriend 32-year-old Monica Denise Jackson, while he is still incarcerated in the Bibb County Jail. During those phone conversations Investigators heard Hall and Jackson discussing Jackson selling illegal narcotics from their residence for Hall. A search warrant was secured and executed by the Bibb County Special Investigation Unit and Members of The U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, on the residence located in the 1300 block of Winton Ave. Investigators seized approximately 1.7 pounds of marijuana and a large sum of currency. Jackson was detained and transported to the Bibb County Jail without incident and charged with Possession, Distribution ,or sale of marijuana. Jackson is being held without bond at this time.
