On August 14, 2020, at 05:00 p.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators served a search warrant at 1990 Riverside Driver room 214, Econo Lodge.

Investigators had received a tip that 47-year-old Bryan Anthony Harris, of Eatonton, had large quantities of drugs in his hotel room. Investigators made entry into the room and found Harris with one and a half pounds of Methamphetamine, eighty Xanax pills, and several Ecstasy pills. Harris was detained without incident.

Harris was transported to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Trafficking Illegal Drugs Methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule I or II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Schedule III, IV of V Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute. He is being held without bond at this time.
