Robbery/Battery Suspect Arrested
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office along with the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a Robbery and Battery Suspect at the Terminal Station, 200 Cherry Street at 08:45 a.m…
An off duty deputy was working at the Terminal Station when they spotted 47-year-old Willie Fred Holmes, of Macon. They called for an on-duty unit to come assist in taking Holmes into custody and that is when the Marshals arrived. Holmes was arrested without incident.
Holmes was transported to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Robbery by Force and Battery. He is being held without bond at this time.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance Locating Robbery Suspect
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping to locate a male suspect, wanted for Robbery by Force and Battery in a case that happened on May 1, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.
It was reported that a female was walking to her car in the parking lot of the Quick Serve, 1106 Rocky Creek Road when she was attacked from behind. The victim was knocked to the ground and her purse was stolen. Investigators were able to identify the suspect 47-year-old Willie Fred Holmes, of Macon. Holmes is wanted for Robbery by Force and Battery. Holmes is five foot nine inches tall and weighs approximately one hundred and seventy-five pounds.
