Tragically early this morning around 3:00 a.m. during a large party being held at 810 Nitrogen Road here in Jones County, Jada Simmons of Milledgeville Georgia was senselessly killed by a yet unknown assailant. Many of the people present were not from here but rather the Milledgeville area. My Deputies and investigators have just finished executing a search warrant at the crime scene and will continue working to identify the person(s) responsible for taking Jada’s life and bring them to justice. Jada was a Mother of a one year old and she had the rest of her and her child’s life to look forward to. We will not stop until we find the person responsible.
