Asking for the Public’s Assistance Locating an Aggravated Assault Suspect
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a wanted suspect involved in an aggravated assault incident that occurred on August 2, 2021, at Northwood Apartments on Thomaston Road.
It was reported that on August 2, 2021, at 10:09 a.m., a 26-year-old female victim was stabbed multiple times by her boyfriend, 30-year-old Shawndarius Johnson. The incident started from a domestic dispute.
The victim was transported to the Atrium Health Navicent by a deputy in a Sheriff’s Office vehicle, and was treated for her injuries. She is in stable condition.
Johnson was last seen driving a burgundy Chrysler 300, and may have fled to Milledgeville, Georgia. He is also known to have ties in South Carolina.
