Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested a Macon man in connection with the Murder of 28-year-old Jarvis Antwon Knight, which occurred on August 1, 2020.
Investigators were able to identify 22-year-old Ryshek Jamar Jackson, of Macon as the Murder suspect. Jackson was already in custody at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center, for unrelated charges. Investigators served Jackson with a warrant for the charge of Murder at around 8:30p.m.

Homicide Investigation
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was notified that at 3:10 p.m. 28-year-old Jarvis Antwon Knight, of Macon, was pronounced deceased at the Navicent Health Medical Center. Knight passed away from his injuries he received during the shooting incident at 4369 Mikado Avenue on July 31, 2020. The next of has been notified.

Aggravated Assault Incident on Mikado Avenue
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault incident that was reported to have occurred at a residence in the 4300 block of Mikado Avenue at 11:45 p.m. on July 31, 2020.
Witnesses stated that there was party at the residence. During the party an unknown subject started shooting. During the incident a 28-year-old male, from Macon, was struck in the head. The victim was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in Critical condition at this time. No one else was injured during the incident.
There is no information on the suspect at this time.
