Homicide Suspect Arrested

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested a Macon man for the Murder of 30-year-old Jontavious Towns, which occurred in 2017.
Investigators were able to identify 26-year-old Horace Jamal Marsh, of Macon as the Murder suspect. Investigators located Marsh at his place of work, Freddy’s Steakburgers, 6239 Zebulon Road at approximately 9:p.m… Marsh was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Investigations Office for questioning. He was later taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Murder. He is being held without bond at this time.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Is Investigating A Homicide On Rosecrest Avenue
Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies answered a call just after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday of a person found unresponsive in a driveway in the 1500 block of Rosecrest Avenue. Deputies found a male, identified as 30 year old Jontavious Towns, lying in the driveway between two abandoned houses. Towns had been shot and was unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office and next of kin were notified.
A missing persons report was filed with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office on Monday afternoon, October 30, 2017, on Jontavious Towns.
