Homicide Investigation
It was reported that two females were driven to the Navicent Hospital Emergency Room, by private vehicle. One of the females was pronounced deceased at the hospital, the second victim is still being treated.
The first victim, a 24-year-old female, was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The name of the victim can not be released until the next of kin has been notified. The second victim, 26-year-old Gabrielle Russell of Macon. Russell is listed in stable condition.
This investigation is in its early stages. The circumstances surrounding the incident and the location of where the shooting occurred are still being investigated. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
