Homicide InvestigationThe Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that was reported to the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 11:51 a.m., Friday.
It was reported that 24-year-old Kenneth Wendell Snead Jr., of Macon, was fatally wounded during an altercation that occurred at the Blossom Hill Estates Apartments, located at 4006 Mercer University Dr. There were no other injuries reported during this incident.
Snead was transported to Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance where he was later pronounced deceased. The next of kin has been notified.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are seeking 17-year-old Robert James Ottman Jr.. He is wanted for questioning in reference to this investigation.
