Aggravated Assault Investigation
The Bibb County Sheriff’s office was notified by the Coroner’s office today, that Darius Deonta Grayer passed away from his injuries.
This incident is now being investigated as a homicide.

Aggravated Assault Investigation
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred in the 1200 block of Fort Hill Street. The incident occurred at around 11:41p.m.
It was reported that a 23-year-old male , Darius Deonta Grayer, was shot in front of his residence. Grayer was transported to the Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance and is listed to be in critical condition.
The investigation is in its early stages. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
