Asking for the Public’s Assistance in May Homicide Investigation
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a person that is wanted for questioning in connection to a Homicide Investigation that took place in 2020. The homicide occurred on May 9, 2020 in Pendleton Homes, located at 3401 Houston Road . Investigators are wanting to speak with 22-year-old Tolbert Legran Finney Jr., of Macon.

Homicide Investigation at 3401 Houston Avenue Pendleton Homes
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to 3401 Houston Avenue, Pendleton Homes, in regards to a person shot at 06:09 a.m.
Upon arrival deputies located 20-year-old Octavius Savon Nixon, of Macon, with a gunshot wound to the head and arm unresponsive near building O. Nixon was pronounced deceased on scene. There is no suspect information at this time. There is no further information at this time. The next of kin has been notified.
