Fatal Traffic Collision

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Fatal Traffic Collision that occurred at around 8:40a.m. on Northside Drive, near its intersection with Holiday Drive North.

It was reported that a 2006 Kia Sorento was traveling east on Northside Drive, through a construction zone, and collided with a parked backhoe.

The driver, 57- year -old Lisa Sailors of Macon was pronounced deceased at the scene by Coroners. The next of kin has been notified. No one else was injured during this collision.

This fatal collision is under investigation. Anyone with information in reference to this collision is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Fatality Investigators at 478-751-7500.
