The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred in the 6000 block of Thomaston Road, Hunters Run Apartments.The incident took place at around 7:18pm.
It was reported that a 26-year-old male victim was fatally shot during an altercation. The details surrounding the incident are being investigated.
The male was pronounced dead on scene by the coroners office. The victim name will be released once the next of kin has been notified.
A person of interest has been taken into custody.
Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.

Arrest Made In Fatal Shooting Incident on Thomaston Road
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred in the 6000 block of Thomaston Road, Hunters Run Apartments.The incident took place at around 7:18pm.
It was reported that a 26-year-old male victim later identified as Joshua Horn Sr. was fatally shot during a verbal altercation that turned physical. During the altercation a gun was presented and Horn was shot once in the chest.
Horn was pronounced dead on scene by the coroners office.
The suspect 37-year-old Earlondez Donta Bond was taken into custody at the scene.
Bond was transported to the Criminal Investigation Unit to be interviewed. After the interview Bond was transported to the Bibb Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charge of murder.
