Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested 33-year-old Quinton Tavoris McCoy of Macon, in connection with the armed robbery of the Circle K gas station, located at 4314 Pio Nono Avenue. Investigators identified McCoy as the suspect and had warrants issued for his arrest. A Crime Stopper’s tip was called in, assisting investigators with his apprehension.

Investigators transported McCoy to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. McCoy is being held, without bond for the charge of Armed Robbery.

Commercial Armed Robbery of Circle K Gas Station

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred at 4314 Pio Nono Ave, Circle K Gas Station, just before 5:08 a.m. It was reported that a male entered the store to purchase gas and then left. Moments later the male returned wearing a hoodie and approached the store clerk brandishing a handgun. The male demanded money from the clerk and receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect then fled the store in a black vehicle that appears to be a Camry with chrome rims. No one was injured during this incident.
