Arrest Made In Suspicious Death Investigation
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death that was reported in the 6000 block of Andrea Drive just before 5:00PM Saturday.
Deputies responded to the address where 40-year-old Brenda Settles was discovered deceased inside the residence by her boyfriend 53-year-old Anthony Walker. Walker was transported to the Bibb County Criminal Investigation Office to be interviewed. After his interview he was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Walker does not have a bond at this time.
An autopsy will be performed on Settles to determine the cause of death.
