Aggravated Assault Investigation

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of person shot. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Perdue Street and happened at around 4:52a.m.

Witnesses stated that a fight broke out at a party. During the fight, shots were fired and a female was struck several times.

The female victim, 22-year-old Kayla Jackson, was transported to the Navicent by ambulance. She is listed to be in critical, but stable condition.
