Aggravated Assault Investigation

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred at the Marathon gas station, located at 3705 Irwinton Road. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 11:53p.m. , Saturday night.

It was reported that two male individuals got into an altercation, in the parking lot of the gas station. During the altercation, one of the males was reported to have been shot. The victim, 29-year-old Royel Jordan went to the hospital by personal vehicle. He is currently listed to be in critical, but stable condition. The second male fled the scene in an unknown direction.
