The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred at the Majestic Gardens Apartments, located at 2560 Rocky Creek Road. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 10:24p.m., Thursday.

It was reported that during the incident, 16-year-old Jamorea Clark was shot in the chest area with bird shot pellets from a shotgun and his 19-year-old brother, D’aquarius received a graze wound, in the arm, by an unknown individual who was in the apartment complex.
Jamorea Clark was taken to the Navicent by ambulance and treated for minor injuries. He was released at around 3:30a.m. D’aquarius was treated and released at the scene. Investigators are continuing to look at the circumstances surrounding the incident.

This incident is under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
