Incident at River Crossing Mall

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault that occurred at the River Crossing Mall located at 5080 Riverside Drive at around 3:48 p.m.

It was reported that 26-year-old, Terrence Bernard Harris, of Macon, and his girlfriend Aliyah Robinson, got into a verbal altercation in the parking lot near H&M clothing store. As Robinson attempted to leave in her vehicle, Harris unlawfully fired a single shot with a handgun to the ground.

Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies quickly arrived on the scene and searched the area. Harris fled the scene on foot, but was captured shortly after near the Mattress Firm with the assistance of Georgia State Patrol Troopers who were in the area.
No one was injured during the incident.

Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Harris and transported him to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged him with Aggravated Assault and Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers (Misdemeanor). Harris currently does not have a bond.
