On Tuesday afternoon, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators made an additional arrest in connection with the Death Investigation at Autumn Trace Apartments. The incident occurred on June 5, 2025.

Investigators identified thirty-five-year-old Alfonso Jose Hyman of Macon as a suspect in connection with the death of Marcus Cunningham Jr. Hyman was taken into custody without incident after the execution of a search and arrest warrant at a residence in Macon. He was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters for further investigation. Hyman was then transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. He is charged with Murder.

Hyman is currently being held without bond.

On Friday evening, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators made an arrest in connection with the Death Investigation at Autumn Trace Apartments. The incident occurred on June 5, 2025.

Investigators identified a seventeen-year-old male, Darrell Stanley of Macon, as a suspect in connection with the death of Marcus Cunningham Jr. Stanley was taken into custody without incident after a traffic stop performed by the Jones County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters for further investigation. Stanley was then transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. He is charged with Murder.

Stanley is currently being held without bond.
