MEDIA RELEASE: Death Investigation on Chambers Road

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that was reported in the wooded area in the 4400 block of Chambers Road just before 3:00 p.m.

Deputies responded to the wooded area in the 4400 block of Chambers Road regarding a deceased person. Deputies found a male subject in the woods unresponsive. The male was pronounced deceased by Coroner Leon Jones. An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause of death. Next of kin has not been notified.
