Aggravated Assault Investigation

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault that occurred in the 5700 block of Bloomfield Road. The incident occurred just before 9:30pm.

It was reported that 28-year-old Shamond Evans , of Macon was shot while outside a residence on Bloomfield Road. The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation.

Evans was transported to a local hospital by ambulance and is listed to be in critical condition.
