Detectives with the Newton County Sheriff's Office are requesting the publics assistance with an ongoing investigation.
On September 21st of 2023 Newton County deputies responded to a residence on Kirkland Road in reference to a 23-year-old male that had been shot multiple times. The victim was identified as Tariq Dunston(pictured) also known as T-Louie. Mr. Dunston did succumb to his injuries.
