Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Identifying a Suspect involved in a Personal Armed Robbery Investigation

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a personal armed robbery. The incident took place at the 567 Center for Renewal located at 456 First Street. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 2:19 p.m., Tuesday afternoon.

It was reported that a male entered the business, brandished a firearm forcing the victim to the back of the store. The male subject took the victim’s phone and money. After taking the items, the individual fled from the store in an unknown direction of travel. There were no injuries reported.

The individual is described as a black male wearing a white graphic shirt with writing, a dark colored head covering, and dark colored shorts.
