The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred in the 3900 block of Hattie Drive, just before 11:00p.m., Saturday night.

Deputies responded to Hattie Drive in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival deputies located the victim, later identified as 31-year-old Kyle Alexander Brown ,that was suffering from a gunshot wound. Brown was transported to Atrium Health where he was later pronounced deceased by medical staff. The next of kin has been notified.

It was reported to investigators that Brown was involved in an altercation and shortly after gunshots were heard.
