The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia Department of Community Supervision Towaliga Judicial Circuit Probation Office recently conducted a joint criminal investigation regarding a sex offender registry violation and probation violation.

The investigation produced a sufficient amount of evidence and information to establish probable cause for the arrest of Jody H. Fitzgerald for Violation of Probation and a Sex Offender Registry Violation. Arrest warrants have been issued for his arrest.

Fitzgerald has absconded and his whereabouts are currently unknown. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia Department of Community Supervision are requesting the public’s assistance in locating this fugitive.
