November 8, 2010 Ninth Annual Macon Regional Crimestoppers Luncheon Law enforcement, from all eight counties, and media will attend this event along with other communty business leaders. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on auction items such as a Day with the Macon PD SWAT Team, a Ride Along with a Macon PD Patrol Officer, A Day with the Macon PD Narcotics Vice Unit, or A day with the Macon PD recruiters seeing how you measure up doing the Physical Fitness and Drivers Test.
August 7, 2010 The Stop the Violence Tour will wrap up the summer with a City-Wide Peace Ralley at Central City Park from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. There will be free food, fun and entertainment for people of all ages so please come out and enjoy the festivites. There will be a suprise celebrity appearnce live enterainment. The ralley on Saturday will be at the Rosa Jackson Center.

The winner of this monster truck was John R. Walker with John R. Walker Construction Company here in Macon. Thank you to everyone that participated in this event.

Each student is given a t-shirt with there school logo to remember this pledge, on the reverse side of the shirt it will recite: - I will never bring a gun to school - I will never use a gun to settle a personal problem or dispute - I will use my infleunce with my friends to keep them from using guns to settle disputes - I will promise to live by this pledge SIGN IT-MEAN IT-LIVE IT-KEEP IT
